Post-doc research associate Research in the framework of the European project LAGUNA-LBNO (Large Apparati for Grand Unification and Neutrino Astrophysics- Long Baseline Neutrino Observatory). In der Lehre gehören die Durchführung von Vorlesungen, Übungen und Seminaren sowie die Betreuung von Abschlussarbeiten in allen am Fachbereich Physik angebotenen Studiengängen zu den Aufgaben der Stelleninhaberin bzw. des Stelleninhabers. Das schliesst die Mitwirkung am interdisziplinären Master-Studiengangs "Mathematical Physics" ein. W3 Professorship in Quantum Field Theory / Mathematical Physics The applicant should be internationally recognized in the area of quantum field theory/mathematical physics and should have made significant contributions to high energy/gravitational physics. Teaching duties include lecturing, tutorials and seminars as well as thesis supervision on degree courses offered by the Department of Physics. Postdoc research associate in astroparticle physics Research at the interface of theoretical and experimental astroparticle physics, in particular signatures of dark matter, high energy cosmic rays, gamma-rays and neutrinos. MitarbeiterIn in Astroparticle Physics Forschung an der Schnittstelle von theoretischer und experimenteller Astroteilchenphysik, ins- besondere Signaturen dunkler Materie, hochenergetische kosmische Strahlung, hochenergeti- sche Gamma-Strahlung und Neutrinos. Es besteht die Möglichkeit zur Mitarbeit an bestehenden und geplanten Astroteilchenphysik-Experimenten wie z.B. H.E.S.S., CTA, Pierre-Auger Obser- vatorium, HiSCORE und ALPS-II. Ab 01.09.2011. |
